Annual Exhibition 2026
Whether you are a fellow maker hunting for inspiration, a collector looking for the perfect handmade mug, or simply searching for a beautiful day out in Rotorua, the Rotorua Potters Group Annual Exhibition has something for you.
Join us from 6 November through 5 December 2026 to experience the warmth, texture, and artistry of clay. This year’s collection showcases the incredible talent and diverse techniques of our members, featuring everything from functional, earthy homewares to unique, boundary-pushing sculptural pieces. It is a true testament to what happens when local creativity meets a welcoming community.

Location: The Arts Village, Rotorua
The Rotorua Potters Group is a community-led club based in Studio 3 at The Arts Village. A dedicated team of volunteers and pottery enthusiasts proudly runs the club, ensuring the studio remains a vibrant, sustainable space for future generations of makers.
Call for Entries
We are thrilled to invite all active members to showcase their work in this year’s exhibition! Whether you have been potting for years or are ready to display your very first collection, this is a wonderful opportunity to share your creativity with the community.
Submission Guidelines
Eligibility: Entry is exclusively open to all active members of the Rotorua Potters Group.
Cost: It is completely free to enter your work into the exhibition.
Entry Limit: Members may submit a maximum of 5 entries. If you are submitting a coordinated set (such as a matching teapot and cups), the entire set counts as 1 entry.
Labelling: Every submitted piece must be clearly labelled with a name/title and a price.
Key Dates & Community Support
Artwork Drop-Off: All pieces must be delivered to The Arts Village by the week of October 15th to be included in the exhibition.
Volunteer Support: This exhibition is a true community effort! If you are entering your work, we kindly ask that you sign up to support the event in some capacity, whether that is helping with the setup, welcoming guests on opening night, or assisting with pack-down.
