Wānanga 1: The Story of Our Whenua

Join us for a meaningful wānanga as we come together to learn, reflect, and deepen our connection to the land our studio calls home.

Our studio sits on whenua generously gifted by Ngāti Whakaue. This gathering is an important step in acknowledging that relationship and the responsibility that comes with it.

Through this wānanga, we’ll explore the history and significance of the land, hear its stories, and grow our understanding of the connection between people and place. This is an opportunity to listen, learn, and strengthen our relationship with those who have made our presence here possible.

We are honoured to welcome guest speakers Rangitihi Pene and Ben Manley, who will guide us through this journey of discovery.

Lunch will be provided, and all members are warmly encouraged to attend.
