He Kete Rau Mahara: Local Heritage Week Pottery Session

Ukutangi / pūtangitangi are clay taonga pūoro (instruments), creating beautiful sounds used to bring on tears, and to help the user bring their emotions to the surface when they have been holding them in.

Drop in session: pop into the studio from 10am and Willow will walk you through making and decoration your very own Ukutangi / pūtangitangi.

Cost: $5 per person (pay on the day)

This pottery session is part of He Kete Rau Mahara: Local Heritage Week.
